Take a boat ride up and down the river to see old Cahors, on trip which takes around an hour and a half. There is a traditional ice cream shop next to the boat which is a welcome stopping point on hot days. The trip runs from June to mid-September at 11am, 3pm, 4:30pm and 6pm.

Our holiday villas in South West France are very close to many of the popular fishing areas which hold some of the largest stocks of fish in Europe. South West France provides fishing, opportunities for both passionate sports fishermen and amateurs at places such as the Garonne, River Tarn and the Lot River. While fishing here you may see carp, catfish, barbel, chub, zander, roach, bleak, perch and black bass. Fishing in France requires a permit which can be purchased in any local fishing shop, or online. Some of our properties also have private fishing rights, which we are happy to tell you more about via email or over the telephone.
