We found Paocot to be a lovely place to chill out for a week. The property is in a beautiful setting and is very roomy and nicely decorated and furnished. It was also nice and clean. The BBQ/dining area is a delight and the Swimming pool is placed perfectly to be able to enjoy it, between the house and the BBQ facility.
Mr Fletcher, the gentleman who managed the pool and resolved our small heating question was delightful. He provided excellent insight into the local markets, local wines, local restaurants and some very interesting local history.
One small point was that the swimming pool is not heated and at the time of year we were there and we didn’t spend as Long in the pool as we normally would. On the other hand it is a salt water pool and doesn’t need the chemicals used by other pools so more pleasant from that point. It is a place which we would be happy to revisit. As usual the booking process was simple and effective and lived up to the description on the website. Mr N,P Sudbury
We have just taken Paocot for 2 weeks last week of June and beginning of July 2018. Really charming house in a very quiet rural area, lovely swimming pool and luckily we had beautiful weather. Perfect to explore the local villages or for a quiet relaxing bookreading holiday. J.S. Fordingbridge, Hants. July 2018
The house was in a wonderful position, with gorgeous hill views of local farms and forest. Inside, it was extremely cool and pleasant, even in the hottest weather, so sleeping was very comfortable. We loved the pool, which is salt water treated, however we would advise anyone slightly less mobile or those with small children to take great care as the two steps down into the pool are very deep and there is no handrail. We were very pleasantly surprised that we could drive around the property, to enter and exit. The owners were at the house when we arrived and were very charming, they had kindly put flowers from their garden in the salon, which was so welcoming, together with a bottle of wine.
During our stay, we saw deer and hares running around the field and a couple of red squirrels as well as some birds of prey, which was a real treat – the house is in a lovely peaceful setting, away from other houses and just ideal for a rest and a quiet holiday. We would certainly consider returning again, as it was a very enjoyable ten day stay for all of us. F.Smith, London
We stayed at Paocot for 2 weeks with our 4 children aged between 19 and 10. The house was excellent, even better than the description on the website. Lovely tranquil location, country views across the valley, and no near neighbours. We would often see deer and hares in the adjacent fields and woodland.
Our children spent hours in the pool, and there was a good choice of sunny or shady spots to sit in the garden. The large barn attached to the house had a table tennis table, with plenty of room to play indoors if it had rained. We brought our bicycles and enjoyed exploring the local lanes.
We visited the abbey at Moissac, explored Lauzerte, and took the children to the Walibi aqua park at Agen. Recommend the large-and-good market at Valence d’Agen.
We were sad to leave Paocot, and hope to return next summer. Mr & Mrs N,B. Crediton.
We loved Paocot again this year. It was blissful the first week with the amazing weather, but despite the rain and chill the second week, we still had a great time.
The property was beautiful and the surroundings lovely, perfect for our family. We found the service from the owner, the caretaker and Kingfisher very good. We were welcomed very warmly to the property which made for a lovely start to our stay. Mr J.M.S, Bucks
Just to let you know how much we are enjoying our 5th stay here, quite the best we’ve ever had, with glorious weather and a chance to use the swimming pool for more than just a rapid plunge….Mr. C.M., Brighton
Thank you, we enjoyed our stay. Would the house be available for the same week next year? Mr. N. I., Lincolnshire
The number of times “I love this place” was said by members of our family is too many to count. Paocot is a beautiful villa set in a wonderful mature garden with a large swimming pool. The views are stunning and setting is so peaceful. There are no near neighbours (which is great if you have young children like us) so you feel like you are staying in your own little paradise. Bourg de Visa is 5 minutes away by car and has a great little bakery and shop. Montaigu de Quercy is about 10 minutes away and has a swimming lake with beach and cafe/restuarant and there is a large supermarket. There are also many little picturesque villages to visit nearby. I cannot speak more highly of Paocot – it is a very special place and we had an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable week there. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Jessica, Suffolk
We had a great time, the house a setting were superb. Mr J W.l
We had a lovely stay at Paocot, and the second week of almost unbroken sunshine made up for the cold and rain of the first. Once again, we were delighted with all the flowers to greet our arrival, and thank you for your support for the installation of the DVD player. Mr V M., Brighton
We we were happy with both houses. Especially the Villa Paocot did we find very charming. Mr L Gregersen, Denmark
Just wanted to let you know that we had an absolutely fabulous holiday at Paocot. Thanks so much for the shopping – Also the flowers looked gorgeous and made it even more welcoming. We have stayed at several rental properties in France but can safely say that Paocot is the prettiest, most private and well presented of them all. The photos on the website make it look good but that is nothing compared to the reality – beautiful! Thanks to you for making the whole booking process so straight forward, answering all my queries and for all your help – we hope to visit again in the future or maybe try another Kingfisher property next year? All the best, Mrs W., County Durham
We had a wonderfully restful stay at Paocot, and our first week was with glorious weather; the cloudy days just prior to our departure prepared us for what we were to find in England on our return! We did appreciate all the lovely flowers in the house; please convey our thanks to whoever was responsible. It was a most welcoming sight after a long journey. Mr V & M
