There is a large pretty garden and a private swimming pool. The mill is situated in the countryside about 8 kms from the pretty town which is set high up to reveal beautiful and far reaching views.
It used to be a fortified town dating back to 1256, with a varied and interesting history. Today, it has a centre square with surrounding timber framed properties, cafes and restaurants and hosts a weekly market. Each summer a medieval festival and various events take the town back to its ancient roots.
The mill has 4 bedrooms to sleep 8 people. Entrance to the house is off a small road and there is parking for several cars by the river opposite.
The front door opens to lead into a large dining room / kitchen. There is a wooden dining table with 8 chairs and dresser and a wood burner fireplace. The light and open kitchen has French doors out to a beautiful terrace, with natural shade and is looking out to the large pretty garden and swimming pool area. The kitchen is equipped with a double sink, electric oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and a separate WC.
The large elegant sitting room still has the two the original fireplaces. There are sofas, chairs and small occasional tables.
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms; bedroom 1 with cast iron double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, bidet and basin (no WC)
Bedroom 2 is a light and airy bedroom with double bed, an original fireplace and double windows at the front of the house. There is an en suite room with basin and shower (no WC)
Bedroom 3 has twin beds and an en suite room with basin and bidet. This bedroom has two entrances and one of the doors leads into the large family bathroom which has two basins, a large walk in shower and a WC.
Steps in the hall way lead down in to the 4th bedroom, a very large room with wooden beams and has a French elegant 5ft bed, bookcase and an en suite shower room with shower, basin and WC.
Linen is included except for swimming pool towels. Internet is available (neither Kingfisher or the owner are liable for any loss or interruption (such as storms etc) of internet service.
Overlooking the lawns, shrubs and trees outside by the kitchen area is a large garden with a pretty terrace and long table and chairs.
There is a (charcoal)BBQ area and a 12m x5m swimming pool with ladder steps. The pool is one depth overall and has an electric cover.
Across the road from the front of the house is a small bridge looking down onto the river and lovely waterfall.
