The old medieval fortress of Pujols holds a Sunday morning and Wednesday evening market throughout the summer and welcomes visitors throughout the year with restaurants, art exhibitions, and special events. At the larger market town of Villeneuve sur Lot, only ten minutes drive away, there are several markets including a weekly organic market and many restaurants, including the Michelin starred “La Table des Sens”. The town can also boast, shops, supermarkets, art galleries, cinema, swimming pool etc. During the summer months there are free musical concerts presented on the riverside every Wednesday evening and a night market with live music on Friday evenings. There are also opportunities to explore the river with boats and canoes for hire.
Access to Minoune is by a leafy country lane with houses off. The property itself has its own driveway which leads to the terrace and through patio doors straight into the living room. To the right is the compact kitchen area which is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, gas oven, and fridge-freezer. There is a sofa, TV Sky (Freesat) and table with four chairs. The bedroom has a large double bed and fitted wardrobe. There is a shower room, with wash hand basin, bidet, shower, washing machine and separate WC. From the living area is a ladder staircase up to a mezzanine floor with twin beds which would be suitable for children.Hairdryer, Books and games are available. Linen is included, (except for pool towels).
The terrace looks out onto the owners house and access to the attractive oval pool is past this house. The pool is set into a large patio area supplied with sun loungers, BBQ and pool furniture.
Wi-Fi is available at the house but neither Kingfisher or the owner are liable for any loss or interruption ( such as storms etc) of internet service. Owner is on site for any assistance.
