The large kitchen is well equipped to cater for a large number of guests with industrial gas stove, gas hob, double electric oven, double sink, fridge/freezer with ice and water dispensers, microwave and dishwasher. A kitchen table seats 6. Both the kitchen and dining room look out over the courtyard gardens. 2 elegant connecting living rooms open out onto the landscaped pool terrace. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a crystal chandelier, a lovely original mosaic tiled floor, tapestries and above all, taste!
There is a large Sky (Freesat) TV and DVD in one of the rooms. A 3rd living room also with Sky (Freesat) TV, DVD and opens onto the same terrace. There is a downstairs cloak room with a washing machine and an impressive hallway which leads to an attractive staircase. Off the first landing are 3 bedrooms with views over the courtyard and a shared bathroom with wash hand basin, WC, bath and shower over.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed; bedroom 2 has twin beds and bedroom 3 has a pretty double poster bed and a lovely stone fireplace making it an ideal bridal bedroom. Off the second landing are 3 bedrooms with views over the pool terrace and en-suite shower rooms with WC, wash hand basin and walk in showers. Bedroom 1 has a small double bed; bedroom 2 has twin beds and bedroom 3 has a double bed, walk in wardrobe and views over the pool and mill pond from a Juliette balcony.
The large pool terrace is attractively landscaped, with a delightful, covered BBQ area to one end. Next to the heated pool is a separate paddling pool for children, loungers and table with chairs for 12. From the terrace are stunning views across the parkland and any noise from the road is deflected by the buildings, making this a peaceful area in which to relax.
In the grounds is a small lake with a paddle boat, swings, table-tennis, football and badminton nets etc. for use of all guests.
Across the courtyard is the Coach House, which sleeps up to 6 people, and which can be offered for letting as an extra option. There is also a stone cottage, Maison Meunier ,which sleeps 5, within the grounds with beautiful views towards the lake. On the far edge of the village is a lime works which is obscured by trees from the property. Wifi is available. The owner is on site to offer any assistance or information required.
