The property Maison de la Serre was quite outstanding. In over 30 years of renting holiday properties in France we all agreed that this was probably the best we had ever rented for a summer holiday. The house was very well equipped, spacious, with lots of outdoor seating areas; so everyone could find a quiet corner when needed.
The pool, heated to 28 degrees, was superb, very clean and well-maintained by the owner. The adjacent summer kitchen was a real bonus with its large fridge freezer; lots of cutlery and gasses; and dining area.
The property, though not isolated was very quiet and afforded excellent views over the beautiful surrounding countryside and an opportunity to chill out after a busy working year for the younger members of the party.
The owners, Mr and Mme Bouty, though having limited English were very friendly, very helpful, unobtrusive, and generous with their offer to utilise the excellent veg.in their garden beds.
Several friends and contacts were very impressed with the photos we posted on line; and wanted to know where and how we found the property and how they might reserve it in future.
All in all we would not hesitate to unreservedly recommend both your company and this particular property. The hosts offer a Chambre D’Hote opportunity and this region has much to offer visitors out of the hot, summer high season. It is not the first visit we have made to this beautiful region and ,no doubt we will return.
