Light, airy and with south facing views across the rolling countryside it is only 1km from the small village of Bourg de Visa. The village has a typical French boulangerie, bar/café, local shops and in the peak season there is a cozy night market with food and music.
A short drive away is the historic town of Moissac, situated on the river banks of the Tarn and the meeting point with the Canal de Midi. Here you can hire a boat, go fishing or cycle along beside the Canal or visit one of the many historic buildings such as the Abbey St Pierre and the Cloisters. At the weekends the center of the town is the setting for a wonderful food market.
This accommodation is ideal for a peaceful holiday enjoying its surrounding terraces, garden and an 11m x 5m swimming pool. There is a pool side covered terrace, providing a shady place to relax in the heat of the summer.
Entrance leads into a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. There is an electric oven,hob,dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and a washing machine. There is a separate WC. The sitting room area is equipped with comfortable sofas, a Sky (Freesat) TV, DVD player and a wood burner. Wi-Fi is available (neither Kingfisher nor the owner are liable for any loss or interruption of service.)
Open stairs lead up to two large bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, with a large shower, basin and WC. Bedroom 1, has twin beds and Bedroom 2, has a beautiful French style double bed.
The Gite is situated in the grounds of the owner’s property but is accessed by a separate entrance and adjacent parking. The terraced areas next to the Gite and around the swimming pool are entirely private for tenants use only. The owners are available for any assistance or information if required. Linen and pool towels are included within the rental. There is no smoking allowed at the property.
