Montaigu de Quercy has a Saturday morning market and a wonderful leisure lake and the small bustling village of Rocquecor has a café/bar and a quaint “Bijou” café.
The home is located in a rural location on a plateau with a few other properties reached by small country lanes. It has its own new private pool and a lovely veranda leading out from the kitchen.
Entrance leads into a hallway, into Bedroom 1, with double bed and fitted wardrobes. Opposite is an Italian style bathroom, with bath and hand basin. There is a separate WC. Bedroom 2, has twin beds.
The light airy sitting room has comfortable sofa’s and a wood burner. There is French TV and a DVD player. From the sitting room is a mezzanine above area is a dining room, with table chairs and a bench seat. The well equipped kitchen is light and airy with a center unit. There is a large gas cooker, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and coffee machine. From the Kitchen doors open out to the veranda ideal for al-fresco.
Bedroom 3 has a 5ft bed and fitted wardrobes , next to the other bathroom which has a large shower, basin and WC.
Linen is included within the rental and there is air conditioning.
Outside is a small grassed area and a beautiful new 8m x 5m pool with electric security cover, terrace and garden furniture. There is an open sided parking area which has table tennis. There are little hidden areas of the garden which you can sit and look down on the surrounding valley or walk through the wooded area. Due to the steepness at the front of the garden we do not recommend this for young children.

This house is very stylish with spacious living areas and really comfortable beds. It’s a short drive or 25 minute walk through the fields and woods to the nearest village which has a restaurant and cafes/bars. The owners were charming, and let us know about all the local events that would be happening in the village. Lovely pool, lovely views, and a real sun-trap. Mrs B,J. Essex
The house is in a beautiful, secluded and peaceful location. The quality of all the furnishings was excellent and very importantly the beds were most comfortable. We could not fault the house at all and would definitely return. Mr H. Kent, Orpington, Kent.
