The South West of France is easily accessible from the UK via a range of transport options. The driving time from Calais is approximately 10.5 hours, which can be broken up with a stay en route. Alternatively many people choose a low cost flight from the UK to Toulouse, Bergerac or Bordeaux airport and then hire a car from there.
