Our Properties in South West France

At Kingfisher, we know that choosing the right accommodation is the key to a great holiday.

With 30 years of experience letting gites, cottages, farmhouses and villas in the South of France, you can be assured of high quality holiday accommodation.

Whether it’s a cosy cottage for two or a large villa for an extended family, we offer a variety of properties suitable for couples, families or large groups up to 24.

Our holiday houses are located in the beautiful Lot Valley and the ancient region called The Quercy. They are rural, lush areas with interesting Bastide towns situated south of the Dordogne in Southwest France.

All our properties are privately owned and maintained, which means that each one is unique, with its own particular appeal.

Some are traditional stone-built buildings with characteristic window shutters; others have a more modern style. Some properties are very close to local amenities; others are up to 8kms away. All have self- catering facilities and each one has a swimming pool.

With this much variety it is important to match your particular needs to what each property has to offer. You are very welcome to call us and discuss your requirements as we are personally familiar with all our properties.

What Kingfisher clients say...

Borie is a real gem. Tranquil and spacious location, well equipped and very comfortable. Pool is superb. Plenty to do and see. Easy local walks, accessible cycling, 1km from local tennis court, 5km from Tournon d’Agenias for bread and a great marché gourmand on Friday evenings. Big supermarkets are not too far. You can easily see why people keep wanting to come back.

La Roc is a charming rural farmhouse with plenty of outside space.  This is a truly wonderful and enchanting property. It has absolutely everything one could wish for – and more.  The standard of accommodation is exceptionally high both in the farmhouse and around the pool kitchen area. The rural countryside setting is stunning and the views magnificent. The tables and chairs dotted round the property are so well placed, we even had a setting with a view down the valley looking into the sunset – what more could you ask for? We’d love to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bosc Grand. The house is bright, spacious and airy, as well as being wonderfully quirky. The facilities were excellent. We couldn’t have asked for more. The location is also excellent, with plenty of beautiful places to visit.

We loved Pepau. It was better than we anticipated – plenty of space inside and out and really well equipped. A great place for a family holiday – very quiet but we found plenty to do to keep us all entertained for the 2 weeks. Thank you also for your consistently prompt communication before and during our stay.

Our two weeks at La Rabiole were wonderful. The house is fantastic and provides ample space for the family. The views from the property are amazing – if you are looking for privacy then this is the perfect property. We loved every minute there and would return in a heartbeat.

Lacoste Bas was an ideal holiday location. The house itself was beautiful and its location even better. The views down the valley from the patio and the pool are breath-taking. The surrounding area was new to us and had plenty of places to visit. Not that we wanted to be away from the pool for long.
