Provence
Aix-en-Provence is the cultural and tourism capital of Provence. It is a university town set amongst beautful architecture that has been preserved over the years. Surrounding the city are fields of lavendar, thyme and olives and pretty villages offering a wealth of local produce.

Lourdes
Lourdes is a small town of 15,300 inhabitants situated at the foot of the Pyrenees, and dominated by its castle. It attracts over 5 million visitors each year, because of it's history. In the 19th century a girl called Bernadette saw the virgin Mary at the Rock of Massabielle. People flock here today to visit this place.

Biarritz
Biarritz is a a vibrant cosmopolitan town on the coast. It has long golden beaches, many golf courses and a large selection of sporting facilities. Surfing is very popular here and annually there is a surf festival which attracts surfers from around the World.

St Tropez
St Tropez is known as the holiday destination for the rich and famous. It offers sparkling nightlife, stunning beaches and glamorous parties. Set on the Golfe de St Tropez, you will find here many sailing regattas and the famous offshore race to Genoa.

Carcassonne
Carcassonne sits on the banks of the river Aude and is one of the best preserved walled towns in the World.

Avignon
If you decide to visit Avignon, make sure you give yourself plenty of time! There is so much to see in this ancient city including the Pope's Palace and the famous Avignon bridge. Spend some time walking through the narrow streets, and soak up the culture and history that this wonderful city has to offer.

Toulouse
Toulouse is perfectly located between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, and is the fourth largest city in France. Some of the most important sites to visit here are courtyard of Henri IV., the Basilica of Saint Sernin, the Jacobin Monastery (dating back to 1275) and the Hotel de Bernuy, the Renaissance home of the pastel merchant Jean de Bernuy (1504-1530).

Marseille

Marseille is situated on the South coast and is the second biggest city of France. There is plenty to see here including the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, the Cathedral Museum of the Roman Docks and the Puget sculptures at the town hall.

Add to that beautiful beaches, plenty of nightlife, shopping, art and cinema, make Marseille a wonderful place to spend time.
