This pretty property has been refurbished under new owners. It is set on the edge of a tiny hamlet of farmhouses, with views across open countryside. It is about 5 kms from the hilltop village of Roquecor which has a small shop, post office, a Sunday morning market and a café/ restaurant with a terrace which is wonderful for eating out in the evenings. A few miles away is the market town of Montaigu de Quercy which has a large leisure lake with sand beaches, waterslides, and paddle boats and canoes for hire. There are also tennis courts at the lake and public courts in the town. All around the area there are local markets, Fetes and music concerts.

 

The accommodation consists of a Dining/ sitting room with a fireplace and with doors opening out to a pretty terrace. In the sitting area there is comfortable seating, a TV for playing Videos and a CD player. The well equipped kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and toaster and a kettle. There is also a WC.

Upstairs, Bedroom(1) with a double bed, Bedroom (2) with twin beds and Bedroom (3) with double bed. There is a Bathroom with a bath, and hand basin. There is a shower room with shower and hand basin and a separate WC. Linen is for hire.

There is no telephone, so please bring your mobiles, but broadband is now availalable(although this cannot be guarateed to be owrking)

The gardens are planted with pretty plants and there are large flat grassed area's for room for ball games. There is a pergola and also a small terrace area by the pool. The 11m x 5m swimming pool has roman steps.

A few additional comments:

A big "thank you" to Ian who kept the garden and the pool all the time at 5* level. When we arrived, the house was very clean which is always a good start of the holidays (except the spiders everywhere, but that's nature). And some basic food stuff was there too - super!
