Olmiéres Basse is a renovated quercy farmhouse with 6 bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms and 4WCs to sleep up to 12 people.
Situated in rural countryside between the market towns of Montaigu de Quercy and Lauzerte it is ideally placed for exploring the area’s picturesque villages and medieval bastide (fortified) towns.
The town of Montaigu de Quercy, has a large leisure lake with sand beaches, waterslides, and paddle boats and canoes for hire. There are also tennis courts at the lake and public courts in the town. All around the area there are local markets, fêtes . and music concerts taking place. Not too far away is the village of Montcuq which has a wonderful Sunday morning market, cafés and restaurants. There are many beautiful towns in the area for those days out, for example, Cahors, Toulouse, Montauban and Moissac which are all worth a visit.
The accommodation consists of a large sitting/dining room. There is comfortable seating and a large dining table to seat 10/12 people. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Next to this is a utility room with washing machine/ dryer, sink and a freezer. The shower room has a wash basin and a separate WC. There is staircase up to Bedroom (1) with large double bed and an en suite shower room and WC. and a separate WC.
Upstairs are 3 Bedrooms, with twin beds and a bathroom with bath, shower room, double basin and WC. The landing area houses sofas and a table. Bedroom (5) has a double bed and so has bedroom (6)
Outside is a open barn with ping pong and BBQ. There is a grassed area and a 10m x 5m (salt) swimming pool with integral steps.
