Village (6kms Montaigu de Quercy)

Latourderie is a pretty old renovated stone house.  It is situated in rural countryside  between the market towns of Montaigu de Quercy and  the Bastide medieval town of Lauzerte in the north of the Tarn et Garonne, very close to both the Lot and the Lot et Garonne departments. The Tarn et Garonne is mainly a fruit growing area, well known for the Agen prunes.

The Lot is known for the wine, mainly red Cahors, it is delicious.  It is a beautiful part of the country with rolling hills and very varied scenery. There are many small towns with colourful markets nearly every day of the week.   There are many things to do, fishing, canoeing, sight seeing, shopping in the markets, walking, horse riding, golf and even parachute jumping, to mention but a few.  There are many beautiful towns not too far away, Cahors, Toulouse and Moissac and they are all worth a visit

The house is arranged on several levels. Downstairs is a well equipped kitchen/dining room which has a fridge, electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher.  The dining area has doors leading out to a terrace & the garden, and a staircase leading up to two double rooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and to a shower room, with basin and WC. Also on the ground floor is a sitting area with doors leading to the garden and with stairs leading to the upstairs sitting room and the main bedroom. There is a downstairs WC and a washing machine

The upstairs sitting room has comfortable seating and has a TV to play videos on. The master bedroom has a double bed and with private bathroom with bath and basin.   On a higher floor, in the pigionnier, is a second double room with twin beds.    

Outside is a good size garden with enough room for kicking a ball, Ping Pong,and a BBQ with a newly built pool side kitchen area. The 11m x 5m swimming pool, has roman steps and there are lounger chairs and parasols.

 Linen is included. There is a phone for local calls and it is best to bring your mobiles with you.
