Situated in 9 hectares of land ,the Gite complex of Domaine du Bossu comprises of 4 individual gites in one property to sleep up to 20 people. Set in picturesque gardens, with a swimming pool, boules, children’s playground and a lake (fishing) just under 3kms from the Bastide town of Monflanquin. The town of Monflanquin dates back to the 13th century, founded by the French, at a time when the English ruled much of this part of France. It is a well preserved town, steeped in history, with alleys and small narrow cobbled streets and has far reaching views across to the Chataux Biron in the distance. Each August there is the annual medieval festival for a weekend, a weekly market, shops and some very nice restaurants.

Each of the 4 gites has a Kitchen/dining/sitting room. The kitchens are well equipped with hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. There are 2 shower rooms & 2 WCs in each gite. In total there are 4 double beds, 1 king size , 8 singles and bunk beds. Linen is included but please bring your swimming pool towels. There is a terrace and a BBQ for each gite. One of the 2 bedroomed gites is suitable for disabled guests and easy access for wheelchairs.

The pretty gardens surround the property, with trees, shrubs and flowers. The owners live in a cottage next door and are on hand for any assistance required, across from there garden is a large lake for guests to go fishing. To one side of the garden is a children’s playground area with swings, slides and a climbing frame.
The 13m x 6m swimming pool has integral steps and from the surrounding terrace you can see over to the town. There is a very large barn used for games such as boules and ping pong. There is also another large barn suitable for any receptions or parties.
