This is a very attractive and comfortably furnished farmhouse, built of old stone , in a secluded position, is situated in the pretty countryside of the Lot et Garonne in the South west of  France, with wonderful views across rolling hills and the surrounding valley. The house is only a short distance to the  village of Cancon, with shops, bakers and a restaurant and a weekly market on Monday mornings. It is also only a 40 minute drive south of Bergerac.

It is ideally situated for the golf enthusiasts with a 18 hole course only a short  drive away. For sightseeing there is the wonderful medieval bastide towns of Monfanquin, Montpazier, Begerac which are well worth a visit and also the Chateuau Biron.

.For the accaomadtion there is a spacious entrance with a sitting area and a dining area. The kitchen which is extremely well equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, new fridge freezer, combi microwave and good utensils, is very conveniently placed between the large dining area and the breakfast room with doors leading out to a terrace, the garden and pool.

 

Next to the kitchen is a sitting room with satellite TV - free UK terrestrial and BBC digital channels and radio, and a door leading out to a covered terrace.

Downstairs---Double Bedroom (1) overlooking garden and pool with en suite shower room (1) ,basin and WC. Bedroom

(2) is a twin bedroom. Bedroom (3) is another double bedroom. Bathroom (2) has a bath , basin and WC. There is also another shower room (3) with basin and opposite this is a separate W/C .

Linen can be hired .

 

Upstairs: Gallery offering a quiet sitting area, a televison to play videos, and a Futon for a ninth person to sleep. Bedroom (4) - twin beds

Outside: 12m x 6m pool with Roman End, pretty garden with shade and sun, Games Room with washing machine and drier, drinks fridge, extra freezer, ping pong. Also badminton equipment and Boules court and boules balls. BBQ.

Cancon 3 km (food shops and restaurant), Bergerac Airport 25 miles, with flights to to UK destinations Stansted, Southampton and Bristol.
