Rouergue is an old stone farmhouse set on its own in quiet countryside but close to and between the market towns of Montaigu de Quercy and Tournon d’Agenais. At Montaigu de Quercy there is a large leisure lake with sand beaches, waterslides, and paddle boats and canoes for hire. There are also tennis courts at the lake and public courts in the town. All around the area there are local markets, Fetes and music concerts. It is also near to the village of Roquecor which has a Sunday morning market and a café/ restaurant with a terrace which is wonderful for eating out in the evenings. It is reached along a small country lane which continues past Rouergue to one further property. It provides good accommodation of 3 bedrooms in the house and 1 Bedroom in the annexe next door. There are 3 bath/shower rooms, a small kitchen and Sitting/Dining area.
The Sitting/Dining room has a woodburning stove in the old stone fireplace, TV with Freeview, oak beams, and doors to a covered terrace. The Kitchen has a electric oven, gas hob, a washing machine, fridge/ frezzer and dishwasher. On the ground floor is a Double bedroom and then upstairs there are two bedrooms (both twin bedded with one being best suited for children) in the main house and the fourth (double bed) in an adjoining building beside the
The 12m x 6m swimming pool is surrounded by a wall with entrance gates. Between the house and pool is a lawned and pretty garden with views over the surrounding countryside. To one side of the pool (outside the wall is a purpose built BBQ. There is a ping pong table in the large barn. Garden furniture. Linen is for hire. There is a telephone for local calls but please bring your mobiles for all other calls.
