This delightful cottage is an  ancient school which has been entirely renovated and has kept a lot of charm and ancient features. It is situated in the countryside in a small quiet  hamelet with direct access to pedestrian walks. It is close to the  market town of Montaigu de Quercy. At Montaigu  is a wonderful leisure Lake with sand beaches, waterslides, paddle boats and canoes for hire. There are also tennis courts at the lake and public courts in the town. On a Saturday is the town’s market and you will find all around the area local markets , Fetes and music concerts.
The entrance to the house opens into a leads a very pleasant sitting room with dining area, There is comfortable seating and a large open fireplace and a music player.

          

         

There is a fully fitted kitchen with gas/electric cooker, electric oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is another large room, previously the class room, with TV (French but with a DVD player) area or reading area, a dining area and mezzanine with sleeping facilities for 2 more people. The master bedroom(1) has a double bed (160cm)  and en suite shower room with WC. Bedroom (2) has  twin beds and there is  a large family shower room with WC.Linen is included but please bring your swimming pool towels.

 

 

The small garden is fenced and has a salt-water 6m x 4m swimming pool, there is a large covered area (anciently the play area for the school) with table and chairs and an outside dining area just next to the house. There is a BBQ and a ping pong table. The garden has many little corners where you will enjoy reading or just relaxing. Oil fired central heating for rentals during the low season.
