Maison Beaulieu is a a tastefully restored barn not far from the village of Castelsagrat. This is one of many pretty villages in the area,and has a delightful flowered main square, showing a Roman Milestone. The square is lined with medieval arcades around the perimeter giving shaded cover and ambience aplenty. To one corner is the church containing a Baroque altarpiece. Castelsagrat also boasts an excellent bakery and bar/café.
For shopping and restaurants the small historic town of Valence d’Agen on the Garonne Canal is just a15 minutes away, whilst 20 minutes away is the town of Moissac. Moissac is a big stopping point on the pilgrims route to Santiago de Compostella in Spain. Behind the magnificent Cathedral (former Abbey) lie the Cloisters, a Unesco World Heritage site.
For children the larger town of Agen (world famous for its prunes) has a large amusement fun park. A secial evening can be spent at the Michelin 3-star restaurant at Puymirol, about a 20 minute drive.

MAISON BEAULIEU is situated in the grounds of the owner’s property enjoying splendid views over the rolling countryside. The airy open plan Sitting/Dining room/Kitchen contains two sumptuous, comfortable sofas, a French TV, a stereo CD player and a selection of games. Whereas the well equipped kitchen area has: a Fridge/Freezer, Gas Hob, Electric Oven, Toaster, Coffee Machine, Kettle, Microwave Oven and Dishwasher, with a table and chairs for dining. The Washing Machine is accessed from the covered terrace.
On the same level, which is Wheelchair Accessible, are Bedrooms 1 and 2. The first has two single beds and the other one has a king-sized bed. The first Shower/WC (spacious walk-in shower) room is also on this level.

The converted hayloft, also reached from the covered terrace contains Bedrooms 3 and 4 each having two single beds and the second shower room with a bath and WC.

OUTSIDE is the inviting pool with roman steps and alarm reached by steps or a ramp. The terrace surrounding the pool has sunbeds, pool shower and a shady gazebo, whilst the covered terrace, with its panoramic views, makes a delightful eating area with table and BBQ overlooking the pool.

For the energectic there is Golf, Tennis and bike hire a short distance away. Also very close by is a fun water park at Gasques.Other bastides (fortified villages) to see are Auvillar,Puymirol, Miramont de Quercy.
