  Le Petite Lamouthe is a comfortable old cottage, fully renovated situated in the grounds of a very pretty park with superb mature trees, adjoining the Lot river, where fishing can be arranged  along 1½ kms of the property.

Set in the Lot et Garrone department, the property is near to the town of Fumel, which has developed into a more commercial town with good shops and supermarkets. Nearby is the fascinating Chateau at Bonaguil, which is one of the finest examples of 15 th Century architecture. There are concerts, restaurant and a cafe. There is an excellent market on Thursday mornings at the nearby small town of Monsempron Libos, and where you can visit the old fortified town with a lovely old church and views down to the river.

         The property is full of light and modernised to a high standard.   There is good parking near the front terrace and the front door to the cottage.   Off the entrance hall is a large, airy sitting and dining room, a well equipped modern kitchen, with gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher.   Also on the ground floor is a small room with a small double sofa bed and there is a WC.   Upstairs there is a bedroom with double bed, and three bedrooms with twin beds. There is a bathroom with bath and basin.   Also there are two shower rooms and a separate WC.  All the bedrooms are light and airy and comfortably furnished.

The fenced 12 x 6m swimming pool with Roman steps is a short walk across the park and is shared with the owners of the main house when they are in residence.   Ping Pong, BBQ, Swings and a slide and other games.   There is plenty of room for ball games in the large park and there are beautiful trees affording good areas of shade as well as country and river side walks.   French TV and Linen is included.
