Doneraile is a charming stone cottage situated about 8kms from the historic town of Moissac. The surrounding countryside is an area covered in orchards and grape vines for the famous Chasselas AOC grape, used for a sweet dessert wine. The town of Moissac is situated by the canal de Midi and the river Tarn which run side by side. Here there are excellent bike paths and walks. You can also enjoy fishing; it is possible to buy 1 day to 15 day licenses sold in the town. At the wonderful lake of St Nicholas de la Grave, there is rowing, waterskiing or relaxing and you can take a picnic next to the lake, under the shade of the trees.
At weekends the town comes alive with a huge market, selling the local cheeses, wine, fruits and all the other tasty delicacies of the region.

Those who are looking for more heritage interests will not be disappointed as Moissac was
a Roman settlement and still boasts some fine examples of Romanesque art. The main attraction is the abbey of Saint Pierre, whose cloister and portal are classified as World Heritage Sites

The property is situated alongside a small rural lane, with a few other properties around. Gates open into a parking area within the large garden. The garden over looks an open countryside and has a nice terrace area with a 10m x 4m swimming pool.
Stone steps lead up to a large open terrace area with a stone BBQ, ideal for al fresco dining.

The accommodation has an open plan kitchen/dining area and sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a double sink. Adjacent to the kitchen area is a utility room with a large fridge/freezer and washing machine.
The dining area has a table and chairs and in the sitting room is a fireplace, some comfortable seating and it is equipped with a TV & DVD player.
From the hallway there are stairs up to a mezzanine area with a sofa: very suitable for reading or relaxing.

There are 2 bedrooms; Bedroom 1 has twin beds and a shower room with shower, basin and WC. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with a large en suite bathroom, with bath, double basin, shower and WC.

Linen is included except for swimming pool towels. There is no telephone at the property so please bring your mobiles.
