Colombier Haut is a modern 4 bed roomed house situated 3 kms away from Ste Livrade, near the Bastide town of Villeneuve Sur lot. It is ideal for a family holiday as the house is comfortable and well equipped with many attractions to visit in the area. The village has one of the best markets in the area held on a Friday mornings. The village is well served with supermarkets, an excellent butcher and a very good baker, two chemists, banks, a garage and restaurants. The old medieval town of Villeneuve sur Lot is a short distance away with the river Lot running through it This historic town, with its pedestrianized centre offers good restaurants, shopping and music festivals. All around the area is ideal for walking, fishing, golf, tennis and sight seeing.

 

The house has a south facing long covered terrace to the front with far reaching views over the countryside. The accommodation consists of a very large sitting/dining room and Kitchen (oak flooring). The sitting area has comfortable seating with a TV ( French ) a DVD player and a wood burner. (WIFI available) The Kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, kettle and a large fridge with small freezer compartment. From the dining area are double doors out to the terrace area. There is a utility room housing the washing machine.

Bedroom (1) has twin beds, Bedroom (2) has a small double bed, Bedroom (3) has twin beds and Bedroom (4) has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom containing bath, WC and walk in shower. There is also a separate shower room with a walk in shower, basin and WC. A travel cot is available.
Linen is included, but please bring your swimming towels. Also please bring your mobile phones. The owner lives next door and will assist with any information if required.

 

Outside there is a 5m x 10 m swimming pool. In the pool, next to the steps there is a small paddling area ideal for young babies and children or if you wish to sit and relax with a drink in the evening and look at the stars which are numerous in this area. It can also be floodlit at night. There is a pool house which perfect if you want some shade which has a table and chairs and a poolside shower & WC. There are sun loungers, garden furniture ,a BBQ and ping pong.
