This charming property is situated in the small sleepy hamlet of St Laurent, which has a couple of farmhouses and a church and is set in the pretty countryside of the Lot, South West France. The property is within walking distance (1 km)  to a very small village which has a local café/bar/grocery and then about 7 kms from the medieval Bastide town of Lauzerte, which has a supermarket, bank, bakers, small shops, restaurants and a weekly market. In the peak season there are regular musical events.  The property is also near to Montcuq which is a popular lively village with restaurants, a large leisure lake and local shops and a busy Sunday morning market.  It is in an ideal location for exploring traditional French villages with local excellent cuisine and good wines from the Cahors vineyards.  Or if you are looking to relax the area is quiet & peaceful, perfect for walks or just lazing in the sun by the swimming pool.

 

 

 

The accommodation consists of a sitting /dining room and kitchen with doors opening out to the garden. In the sitting area there is comfortable seating, a TV for playing videos and a portable Hi Fi player.  There is a dining table and chairs and the well equipped kitchen has a large gas hob and cooker, dishwasher, microwave/ cooker, fridge/freezer and a kettle.  There is a washing machine in the adjoining barn.

 

There is a small additional sitting room for reading or playing games and a shower room with shower and hand basin and a separate WC.

Upstairs, Bedroom(1) has a double bed, Bedroom (2) has twin beds, a large hall way and Bedroom (3) has twin beds. There is a large Bathroom with a bath, shower attachment and hand basin and a separate WC.

Outside there is a flat grassed garden with fruit trees, and an open view across the countryside.  There is a BBQ, and a  10m x 5m swimming pool with ladder steps. There is garden furniture, a ping pong table and some bikes.

 

 

 

Linen is for included but please bring your swimming pool towels. There is a telephone for restricted local calls, or if requested,  it is also possible for internet connection please ask. For other phone calls it is advisable to also bring your mobiles.
